Salman Khan Renown Bollywood Actor for more than a decade born on December 27th 1965 at Indore, Madhya Pradash is the son of Salim Khan. Salman Khan who is originally known as Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan but entire film industry and his fans called him Salman Khan nick named as Sallu. Salman’s first screen appearance in a movie Biwi Ho To Aisi in which he played supporting actor not worked so well as being supporting he unable to provide any magic. Following Baaghi Salman also starred in three super hits Pathhar Ke Phool, Bewafa and Saajan. After three successive in a row his releases of year 1992-1993 outcame as flops.

Khan made another active return in 1994 second time with director Sooraj Barjatya in the romance flick Hum Aapke Hain Kaun opposite Madhuri Dixit. Movie resulted super duper blockbuster of the year and done highest grossing movies ever in Bolywood. After commercial success, Hum Aap Ke Hain Kaun performance praised & appreciated by Bollywood Lovers. Hum Aap Ke Hain Kaun also considered to be best-seller in Overseas and all over India. Once he also appeared with another Khan named Aamir Khan for the movie Andaaz Apna Apna which also gained plenty of success in round the globe. In 1995 he casted for Rakesh Roshan’s Karan Arjun opposite King Khan “ Shahrukh Khan” the combination of this duo also acclaimed huge applause & given identity of being a perfect super star. His character of Karan once more put himself for the nomination of Filmfare ultimately that award won by Shahrukh Khan for Arjun character for Best Actor in Leading Category.
Following year 1996 also proven to be glory of successes for Sallu. First being acted in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s (One of greatest director of Bollywood Industry) Khamoshi opposite Manisha Koirala also featured Nana Patekar. However it turned down as box office flop but critically praised. He also casted opposite Karishma Kapoor and Sunny Deol in super hit Jeet in a direction of Raj Kanwar.

In 1997 he had done only two movies Auzaar and Judwaa. David Dhawan directed comic movie Judwa in which Salman played twins role divided at birth; Karishma and Rambha co-starred with him.

Salman also appeared for 5 different movies in year 1998. Pyar Kiya Tu Darna Kya starring Kajol was one of the biggest hit and blockbuster of same year. He also appeared as lead actor in Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai, paired with Twinkle Khanna. He shared special appearance for Karan Johar’s super duper mega hit Kuch Kuch Hota Hai where he played a short cameo in last part of movie. Film made great local & overseas business due to flawless performances of Shahrukh Khan, Kajol & Rani Mukerji. It was debut directional and yet successful project by Karan Johar son of Yash Johar (Dharma Productions). For his supporting acting he nominated and awarded FilmFare Award for Best Supporting Actor. The movie stands out best film for the year 1998 in all perspectives.

Next Year, 1999 Khan appeared in three super hit movies which also turned up his career in great effective mode; Hum Saath Saath Hain, again with Sooraj Barjatya, Biwi No.1 top grossed movie and last not least Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. All of three flicks created splendid market due to matchless script, story and cast for all movies. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam starring Aishwarya Rai for first time created an unique on-screen bonding; It was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali (One of most successful box office director) setup whole things in such manner to acclaim success both by revenue and critics appreciation. Khan bagged another Filmfare award.    

2000, the millennium proven to be worst year of his entire career he acted in six movies none of shown any kind of triumph. The list includes Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke both have almost similar names like Rani Mukerji & Priety Zinta on leading roles. Chori Chori Chupke Chupe delayed and released in 2001. Next 2 years, 2001 and 2002 Khan remained quiet and only did another delayed release Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam featuring Shahrukh Khan & Madhuri Dixit that done an average business at box office.

After successive flops Khan made strong and massive comeback in the year 2003, done Tere Naam. This movie is based on ultra-unique script and he played exceptional great characters and that fit him too much. His character shown various combination of acting skills which again praised by his lovers and he enable himself to find in same list of Top Bollywood Actors. 2004 made him me on track due to comic movies like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi & No Entry. No Entry acclaimed great success and done excellent business at box office. He did only two movie Jaan-e-Man featuring Priety Zinta & Akshay Kumar & Baabul featuring Rani Mukerji, John Abraham & Amitabh Bachchan. Both of them remained flops and unable to do anything at box office.

He started 2007 with highly packed film name Salam-e-Ishq featured great names he paired with Priyanka Chopra. Nikhil Advani film failed to do anything at box office however melodious music earned something. His home production by Sohail Khan acclaimed success and done brilliant business. Partner included Govinda for first time; Katrina Kaif & Lara Dutta. He also appeared in Marigold opposite Ali Larter, an American Actress; it was a composure of American woman and Indian man love story the movie also done nothing and termed as major disappointment.

In 2008, He scheduled to appear for a lot movies in which God Tussi Great Ho already released which is Afzaal Khan directional project. Eventually this film subdued due to inoffensive story about God and got banned in various part of the world.

Later this year Salman Khan made his commercial appearance on TV Game Show called Dus Ka Dum which is The Power of 10.
